I started footbag in 1990 in berkeley. For some reason I felt it wasn't the way I wanted to express myself any longer so I hung up my shoes in 1993, and picked up a lot of other hang ups instead, but as of last year I got into a Chinese game called shuttlecock that's kicked like a footbag, not as cutting edge, but it's not as tiring as shredding, a more casual form of kicking.
